A Caricature
This is fun. My friend, Mike Werner, is an artist, and he offered to draw a caricature of Brian and me for our leather repair business. It turned out really well!
Mike lives in Milwaukee, and I used to hire him when I worked at Blue Cross to help with brainstorming sessions. He has this unique talent of being able to “draw” people’s ideas. It is super helpful! Sometimes people have excellent ideas, but they can struggle in communicating them to other people. Mike’s art adds a picture to the words, and the result is people understand the idea, they get excited about the idea, and they remember the idea.

When someone has an idea, they jot down the details, and Mike brings it to life in a picture.
This is an extremely effective technique to make sure your brainstorming session is a success. Everyone always say that Mike is the best part because he helps to bring their ideas to life.
